Nyf activities

1. Global Xchange

Global Xchange Program is a six months cross-cultural youth exchange volunteering program between the UK and other developing countries in Asia and Africa. This program is run in partnership by Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), the British Council (BC) and the implementing local partner organization in each exchange country.
It motivates the youth to explore the real world, learn about different culture, local and global development issues and inspire them to get involved in community development and volunteering work in order to bring positive change.

It provides the volunteers an opportunity to learn in two different environments and perspectives (developed and developing) and observe the similarities and differences in these two environments and perspectives. During these six months the volunteers are preparing to be Active Global Citizens, who can then go back to their own local communities and transfer the skills, experiences and knowledge gained from Global Xchange in order to bring positive change supporting the community development work.
