interaction and training program

Nepal Youth Forum is mobilizing the youth of Nepal to bring about lasting social change – ensuring that peace turns to real reconciliation and that Nepal evolves into a country of equal rights irrespective of historical caste, a country where everyone unquestionably respects the rights of every other personnel is led by a small group of young professionals with a shared vision of a peaceful Nepal free of all discrimination.. The organization's strengths include leveraging the media to facilitate peace and the positive mobilization of youth.
Association of Youth Organization Nepal (AYON) in association by Ministry of Education and Sports, Youth Branch organized capacity enhancement training at Nepalgunj. Along with 27, Mr.Jayaram Nepali participated on 5 days training and had an opportunity to get fund for three exclusive programs. As NYF member Jayaram Nepali purposed a public interaction program, youth leadership training and proposal writing training, NYF successfully conducted.

 1. Interaction Program-Youth Role in New Republican Nepal
In June 2 2008 Nepal Youth Forum hold an interaction program at Nepal Bar Association Hall. The leading youth CA representatives were presented there in the program and deliver their valuable thoughts and interacted among the participant.          There were more than 75 participants and they were interacted by the youth leaders. Rabindra Adhikari from CPN UML, Chandra Bahadur Thapa of YCL and Sita Boudel of Akhil Nepal Mahila Sangh Krantikari and Kabindra burlakoti of AYON were presented in that program. Rabindra Adhilkari emphasized on youths role to make new constitution.YCL Valley Incharge Sagar reveal the plan of YCL to be constructive to change the society.
Sita Boudel demanded female participation on each and every state of the mechanism. Like wise Kabinra Burlakoti emphasized on the formation of Youth Ministry and related bodies.  
2 Hour long program was chaired by Mr.Pradip Pariyar and MC by Jayaram Nepali.

2.  Training Program-Youth Leadership
NYF conducted training on youth leadership on 31st May 2008. More than 28 youths representing different youth organization took part on whole day. This training was divided into 3 sessions.
         Firstly Simon Brown a VSO volunteer highlighted over the international youth movements. In Second session Pradip Pariyar chairman of NYF gave the tips of good leadership and interacted for some time.
         The end session was concluded by Mr.Bibek Regmi on the youth’s role from the media perspective. This training is organized at local training development academic
(LTDA), Jawalakhel.

3. Training Program-Proposal writing
As a part of organizational development activities, Nepal Youth Forum organized training on proposal writing on 21st June 2008. VSO volunteer Judith Fields & Bibek Regmy facilitated this training. There were15 participants especially participants from the NYF central committee and active volunteers benefited from this training.

4. Key learning from the programs
NYF learns from these trainings that if the managerial works are duly planned minimum resources also can be utilized properly within the short period.
